Some users are reporting experiencing issues with PayPal not working when trying to purchase Petri. I am investigating the issue, and will hopefully have the problem tracked down soon.
Preliminary research seems to point to an issue with how Google Chrome handles PayPal buttons. Users are encouraged to try using Safari or Firefox for the time being. Hopefully, I can locate a fix soon and using specific browsers won’t be necessary.

*** UPDATE: I was able to reproduce the problem on two computers in-house. By clearing Google Chrome’s browser data, I was then able to access the PayPal links on both machines exhibiting the issue.
