synth video and 2 new tracks at Soundcloud"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just finished wiring up my new little 4-oscillator synth. \u00c2\u00a0Still need to prepare an enclosure, but it&#8217;s working wonderfully so far. \u00c2\u00a0It&#8217;s using a NAND gate Schmitt trigger IC (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jameco.com\/webapp\/wcs\/stores\/servlet\/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&amp;productId=13400&amp;catalogId=10001&amp;freeText=13400&amp;app.products.maxperpage=15&amp;storeId=10001&amp;search_type=jamecoall&amp;ddkey=http:StoreCatalogDrillDownView\" target=\"_blank\">CD4093<\/a>) and features 1 oscillator functioning as an LFO flipping between two others in the audio range. \u00c2\u00a0Another oscillator is providing some fun cross modulation voodoo between the two main tone generators. \u00c2\u00a0It also has a photoresistor that can alter the pitch of one of the oscillators (or be switched off via toggle), and some light low pass filtering. \u00c2\u00a0And, of course, a blue light. \u00c2\u00a0You can hear the result running through the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.korg.com\/monotron\" target=\"_blank\">Korg Monotron<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.korg.com\/product.aspx?pd=278\" target=\"_blank\">Mini KP<\/a> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0HPDnX0a080\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a> video below. \u00c2\u00a0Not bad for a $0.29 chip. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n<p><object classid=\"clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000\" width=\"400\" height=\"325\"
