I will be providing the musical backdrop for the Art Pad Gallery’s Holiday Group show this Saturday, playing guitar and using custom software to create an ambient 3-hour soundscape. Admission is free, food and drink is provided, and local artwork will be displayed. There’s even a video game controller hooked up to my software so audience members can play along with me. A game controller is connected to an unreleased sineqube application made with Max/MSP that incorporates a live looper and sequencer with tempo-synced delay. The controller allows for anyone in the audience to come up and play along with me. The full set was 3 hours. Sound quality is low as it was recorded via the video camera.
