New album and free track! Live show tomorrow

Qbloop Selections I is now available at CDBaby for ~$8. There is one free track, “Qbloop06,” up at the CDBaby page you can download before buying. The album is up at iTunes as well, albeit slightly more expensive (I can only control CDBaby pricing).

Also, don’t forget I’ll be playing the Art Pad Gallery tomorrow from 6-9PM. Come out and enjoy the free food, drink, artwork, and music!

Sineqube at Art Pad Gallery 11.21.09

I will be providing the musical backdrop for the Art Pad Gallery’s Holiday Group show this Saturday, playing guitar and using custom software to create an ambient 3-hour soundscape. Admission is free, food and drink is provided, and local artwork will be displayed. There’s even a video game controller hooked up to my software so audience members can play along with me. More info available atwww.artpadgallery.com . Hope to see you there!

Video footage from recent show

Video uploaded to YouTube from the recent Art Pad gig. A game controller is connected to an unreleased sineqube application made with Max/MSP that incorporates a live looper and sequencer with tempo-synced delay. The controller allows for anyone in the audience to come up and play along with me. The full set was 3 hours. Sound quality is low as it was recorded via the video camera.

Live show

I will be providing a sonic backdrop using guitar and live electronics for the “Suffused in Dream” exhibit at the Art Pad gallery this Saturday, 7.11.09, from 6 to 9 PM. Admission is free, and refreshments are provided. Stop by and hear an unreleased sineqube application in action.

All music will be played and processed live — no pre-recorded material is used during the performance.

Sapling 1.0 is now available!

Sapling is a freeware standalone sound-mangling application built with Max/MSP 5. Find more information on the software page, or go directly to the Sapling page.

The program is completely free, but if you enjoy using it, please consider purchasing my album Thread to support the work. Thanks very much.
